Introducing a dynamic duo of pit bulls, who are not just siblings but also best pals – Norman and Annabelle.
Bobby Keane and his spouse Danni displayed kindness by welcoming their mother from a shelter, who was just seven days away from delivering a dozen puppies.
The Keane family was recently interviewed by Bored Panda to know more about their adorable puppies, Annabelle and Norman. They were requested to share the complete account of how the puppies became a part of their lives.
According to Danni, Bobby’s wife, the mother of the puppies was taken to a nearby shelter when she was almost due for delivery. A rescue organization shared her details on Facebook and sought foster parents. The Keanes immediately responded and picked up the dog from the shelter. A week later, she gave birth to twelve lovely puppies, including Annabelle and Norman.
The pair had no plans of retaining any of the items, yet destiny had other ideas in mind.
In today’s world, it appears that Annabelle and Norman have jam-packed schedules as evident from their Instagram posts. To learn more about their daily routine, we reached out to Danni. According to her, their lives are quite organized and scheduled. Since they are still young and energetic, they engage in mind-stimulating activities regularly. Moreover, they love going on adventures such as visiting parks, hiking trails, and even renting a SniffSpot.
In addition to the fact that the two dogs developed a strong friendship, Annabelle has also grown into daddy’s little girl since she was only 3 weeks old. Meanwhile, Norman has formed a special bond with the wife and daughter.
Bobby Keane felt a strong connection with Annabelle and one night he lifted her onto his shoulder, causing the pup to doze off.
The Keane family was kind enough to give us additional details about how Annabelle’s infatuation with Bobby began. According to Danni, when Annabelle was just three weeks old, Bobby picked her up and placed her on his shoulder, which caused her to doze off. From then on, it became a regular ritual between them. They formed a deep connection at that moment, and Bobby had never tried to discourage her from doing it. However, there were times when Annabelle became too clingy, and Bobby would have to move her until she settled down. But after calming down, she would come back to rest on his shoulder and fall asleep again.
Unbeknownst to him, even after all these years, a 56-pound pit bull still loves snuggling up on his shoulder.
Bobby made a witty remark on TikTok that teaching dogs how to behave properly as adults can be achieved by preventing certain behaviors during their early puppy days.
The clip became incredibly popular and sparked a plethora of responses from individuals who could relate to the same ‘problem’ with their furry friends.
Norman and Annabelle, the beloved dogs of the Keane family, gained internet fame overnight. When asked if they ever anticipated one of their videos becoming viral, Danni replied with a chuckle, “We never know what will catch on. Social media was never our thing, and we certainly never expected to run an account for our furry friends. However, we enjoy it as a fun activity and a way to document memories with our dogs. It’s a sweet video diary that we can look back on fondly in the future.”
Annabelle and Norman’s friendship was a surprise, but it quickly developed into something amazing. They both share a love for Bobby, which has only strengthened their bond. It’s great to witness such a beautiful connection.
Norman and Annabelle have made quite a journey together. At three years old, the inseparable couple claims that they cannot live without each other. However, we were curious about their relationship with other animals. According to Danni, their owner, Norman and Annabelle do not interact with any other animals as they tend to play rough with each other, which might not be understood or liked by other dogs. As such, the pair only plays with each other, and Danni believes it’s better to be safe than sorry. Additionally, she mentioned that they do not subscribe to the notion that dogs need friends.
