Jeco Macs, the proud owner of Moana, recounted the touching tale on his personal Facebook page. While he was sitting in front of the television, he heard Moana barking outside and rushed to see what was happening. To his surprise, he saw the brave dog attacking and dragging a venomous cobra down the stairs.
Macs swiftly eliminated the snake and felt grateful that Moana had prevented any harm to the entire family. Initially, he was unaware of the dog’s snakebite, but he proudly shared Moana’s heroic act on social media.
“Hey Moana, you’re amazing! You truly saved your family and I admire you for that. It’s important to appreciate our furry friends because they can be incredibly clever and even put their lives at risk to protect us. They love us more than anything and it’s important to reciprocate that love. The picture accompanying this message shows Moana with a smile on her face after catching a snake, but unfortunately, things took a turn for the worse. Shortly after the picture was taken, Moana passed away due to a cobra bite before her family could take her to the vet. Rest in peace, Moana.”
