As we drive along the winding road, we spot a small figure in the distance. Approaching closer, we realize it’s a dog, scruffy and thin, wandering aimlessly along the roadside.
She looks up at us with pleading eyes, hoping we might have some scraps of bread or any food to spare. We can’t help but notice the small group of puppies huddled together beside her, also looking malnourished and weak.
